Who Are We?
Dr Hemal Kenia has spent over a decade treating complex cornea and dry eye conditions, training at some of the most prestigious eye hospitals in India, including Aravind Eye Hospital and the L.V. Prasad Eye Institute. With extensive experience in dealing with the intricacies of the human eye, he began to notice a common concern among his patients: eye fatigue. The daily grind of staring at screens, pollution, and lack of sleep was taking its toll.
That’s when Eylys was conceived. Dr Kenia wanted to create a simple solution that could provide relief for the modern eye, without the need for heavy treatments or invasive procedures. Eylys is designed to offer instant comfort and relaxation for tired eyes, drawing from his years of expertise in the field. It’s a no-fuss way to get a break from the relentless pace of life and give your eyes the care they deserve because after all prevention is indeed better than cure.
2020
The Thought
After the COVID-19 pandemic, people started adopting a digital-first lifestyle for work and leisure. With higher screen times came a rise in digital eye strain, but there was a lack of high-quality, medically sound solutions. That’s where the idea for our own indigenous product- Eylys- was born./ That gap led us to create Eylys: a thoughtfully designed, homegrown answer to modern eye care.
2021
A Fresh Start
A year and 3000 trials later, though our microwave-activated eye compress outperformed existing products, it wasn’t enough. We knew we could offer smarter, more effective eye care/ offer more. So we returned to the drawing board for a fresh start.
2022
The Breakthrough
We developed a next-gen electronic eye device that meets the highest standards of science and safety, offering consistent, effective relief for digital eye strain.
2023
The Launch
Set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, fully compliant with the ISO 13485 medical-grade quality standards. After three years of R&D, Eylys was officially launched at the prestigious All-India Ophthalmic Conference to positive acclaim from leading ophthalmologists nationwide.
2024
Eylys 2.0
Integrated a scientifically designed eye massager designed for twice the therapeutic relief.
2025
Global Recognition & Strategic Expansion
Eylys entered the global stage with the CE certification, ensuring our product meets the EU’s strict standards for health, safety, and environmental protection.
To meet the growing demand without compromising on the quality, we expanded to a high-capacity manufacturing unit within 2 years of launch.
